QUEENSBOUND

QUEENSBOUND is a collaborative audio project curated by poet and writer KC Trommer.

From Long Island City all the way to Jamaica, the poems of QUEENSBOUND map the neighborhoods and the vibrancy and diversity of the borough, embedding audio recordings from leading Queens poets and writers on a subway map designed by Kyle Richard.

Clicking on this link will take you to an interactive pdf map, where you can access embedded audio recordings of poets and writers of Queens reading their own works.

On November 3, 2018, the QUEENSBOUND project launched with a reading on the 7 line (Yes there was a poetry reading on the first car of the 7 train!) and reception at the Queens Museum in the New York Panorama Exhibit.

As an added bonus, Adam DeGraf and Tyler Burba, hosts of the reading series Kith and Kin played an original composition utilizing lines from poems that had been read that day.
